If you are looking for a sweet, good sized, 15 hands, typey Arabian, "Goody" would be a great horse for you.  He is currently getting ridden regularly in the arena and on the trail.  He has a great disposition, adjusts to new places well, gets along with other horses, and is a pleasure to handle.  He is easy to catch in the pasture, will stand tied for long periods of time without argument.  Very responsive to bit and leg cues, has very nice head carriage when being ridden. Very cooperative for his rider and willing to please.  Doesn't mind dogs, is housed near cattle, goats and llamas and is pastured with other horses and a donkey.  Has hooves of steel!  Can trot our great on gravel! Not spooky.

He is smooth to ride, and has a nice long trot and canter.  He has a great extended trot for lots of ground coverage when asked.  You can see that in the photos.  Very showy looking and would be great with some show work and guidance in that area.  Also would be great as a trail horse....lots of possibilites in any discipline.  Current on shots, farrier, coggins, worming, etc.  Loads, clips, bathes, ties.  Ridden in a snaffle bit, plow rein, western or English saddle.
Could stand to gain a little weight as he was more than likely in the low pecking order in his previous pasture.

I like that when I ride Goody, I feel safe, in control and I love that he seems relaxed and so willing.  He does whatever I ask him to do, goes by scary things...really trust me to guide him.  He is young, however, he seems mature in his actions and behaviors, just so willing to please.  He is also affectionate and cute, and is playful when out in the herd with the other horses.  Just has that neat personality.  He is content to stand still and just wait for his next cue from me.  And he is smooth not only in his lope, but also his trot.  If he is this nice at 4, I can only imagine how he would be after bonding with someone over the years.  Below are many pasture snap shots taken on August 17th, 2009.  Photos under saddle taken August 18th, 2009.  English saddle pictures taken on the trail September 7, 2009.  Please e-mail or call if you have any questions.   He is a sweet boy and would make someone a great horse!
