Five year old Thoroughbred mare that stands somewhere around 16 hands and was born February 11, 2003. Has never been raced and is sound and healthy. Started slowly under saddle for a strong foundation and ridden regularly. Wonderful potential as a hunter or dressage prospect. Quiet and affectionate, perfect for the amateur rider. This mare is a love bug, and is such a sweetie. Comes right to you in the pasture, loves to be loved on. Has gone over low jumps and really tries to please. Kind of horse that wants people attention and would make someone a great riding partner! If you go out in the pasture with her, she follows you like a puppy!
Current on shots, coggins, wormings and farrier visits. Has always had great care. Tough Tough hooves for a Thoroughbred! Gets along well with other horses, and is turned out in a pasture with 10 others. She gets free choice coastal hay and fed grain in the evenings. This mare has a great mind and would be wonderful in any discipline. Currently being ridden on the trail, in the pastures and is still getting some jumping experience over low jumps in case someone wants to go into jumping. Tacks up well, good with giving her hooves, and is very responsive and not easily destracted. Listens to her rider and responds well to gait changes. Fairly smooth at trot and lope and very willing. Stands tied well, unless startled and then she might pull back at the fence. Doesn't mind the dogs, responds well to cues. Sweet as can be and loves attention.
Will take a lower offer to the right home...we just want her to have a chance to enjoy her future and be utilized to her potential.
